Delta Digital has introduced their newest airborne video encoder, the Model 6820R, 2-Channel HD/SD Video Encoder. The 6820R is Delta’s answer to the ISR community’s need for additional video channels without increasing size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C). The 6820R is a drop-in replacement for Delta’s highly successful Model 6800R, single-channel encoder, which is deployed, and has been providing our forces high-quality, HD, Full Motion Video (FMV) since 2008.
The 6820R continues Delta’s commitment to improving FMV delivery by adding a second channel in the same mechanical configuration as its predecessor, at the same power and price.
